  • 19 Oct 2008 - Fundraising

    The following Funding is available for this project.

    It is possible that funding is available for this project, but we need to work in Partnership with the Local Council, Persimmon Homes and other community groups and partnerships to be successful.

    Section 106 money could provide excellent match funding for the following grant schemes;

    East Midlands Development Agency

    Landfill Tax - Landfill Tax money is available, but ACT need £100 to register as an "Environmental Body" with ENTRUST.  Once ACT has become an Environmental Body - we could apply for a Landfill Tax Grant. Up to £50,000 is available, and for a major or beacon project £200,000.  Landfill tax require 10% match funding from a third party funder (e.g. Ashfield District Council or Private funder such as a business).

    The three main landfill operators that will fund this project are:
     BIFFA, Violia, WREN

    Perhaps Ashfield District Council or Annesley Parish Council could support  ACT by paying the £100 Registration Fee.

    Coal Field Regeneration Trust - £6 million is available over the next 3 years.  Our project will fall under this. More details to follow.

    Heritage Lottery Fund - ACT forward on an expression of interest summary..

    Awards For All - We are currently making a funding bid to AFA.
